憍陳如尊者

佛陀最初所度五比丘之一。佛陀於鹿野苑初轉法輪，五比丘中最先得悟的聖首阿羅漢。寬仁博識，善能勸化，為僧中法性長老，常居上座，眾所尊崇。

Kaundinya

Kaundinya was one of the first five disciples of the Buddha. When the Buddha preached the Dharma for the first time in Sarnath, he achieved the fruit of arhatship before his fellow disciples. His deep understanding of the nature of dharmas made him a senior elder in the sangha. Kaundinya was known for his great compassion, knowledge, and persuasive powers.
